The Asperger Twins tells the story of Roger and his sister Kelly who have lived long enough to realize that the clinical literature is correct: Those on the Autism spectrum have little chance of finding deep and lasting relationships unless they are able to connect with others like themselves. They turn away from the absurd hysteria of romantic entanglement and find the richest bond that life has to offer in helping each other recast a life sentence to oddness and banishment on the periphery into a gift of passionate imagnation beyond the reach of multitudes who are challenged with a need to be perceived as normal.
