Generic Theater is celebrating its 30th anniversary of presenting theater in Portsmouth. For many years GT has been reading plays for the public, and this season they will be reading new plays submitted to The Players' Ring by local playwrights as well as plays that may strike their fancy. A major goal of the play readings is to find a play to produce for the next season whidh compliments the mission of The Players' Ring to give local playwrights the opportunity to hear their plays come to life and get feedback from the audience as well as performers.
